In a recent one-on-one meeting with a member of my team, that single word notably lingered after it emerged between us. I’m the one who’d asked the question and even I let out an audible, “whoa”.

Personally, I like to really hone in on yearly planning in April. Maybe it’s the transition to spring, the kickoff of Q2, or even that my birthday is in April. Regardless, now is the perfect time to ask, “how will you know, looking back in January 2025, that you achieved what you’d set out to?”.
